About the position
As an Assistant Purchaser, you are responsible for a wide range of purchasing tasks  within the organization and you work closely with the Strategic Purchaser and Logistics to guarantee delivery reliability.  You are entrepreneurial and come up with improvement proposals yourself. You are responsible  to support the team on the purchases as well as maintaining relationships with the suppliers and internal stakeholders.


 Your tasks include:

  • Supplier selection,
  • Monitoring and improving delivery times,
  • Optimizing the supply chain,
  • Check purchase confirmations,
  • Supplier forecasting
  • Initiating purchasing developments in the field of make-or-buy and product and production efficiencies,
  • Carrying out vendor ratings and improvement plans with your suppliers,



Job requirements

  • HBO+ education (commercial -or business economics)
  • NEVI 1 en 2, willingness to follow NEVI 3
  • At least 5 years of relevant work experience in the field of purchasing withing a production environment
  • Affinity with technique/technology
  • Knowledge of project and process procurement and the offer and procurment market
  • Highly developed negotiation skills
  • Mastery of the Dutch and English language, (German is a plus) in word and writing
